Donate your old usable sporting equipment at any Mr Price or Mr Price Sport store now and help us gear-up tomorrow’s sports heroes! Gear-up our Kids Campaign is an initiative that promotes sport and outdoor activities amongst children and youth in impoverished communities.
Now in its fourth year, the Campaign was launched by RedCap Foundation in partnership with Lets Play and Mr Price Group. Its aim is to collect usable old equipment from the public and redistribute it to needy schools and non-profit organizations.
Gear-up has made a positive impact in the lives of those who received the equipment in previous years. Young people’s dreams of having their own equipment have come true. And hundreds of children develop a passion for their sporting talents. Not to mention those who are out of the streets and set free from substance abuse because they have something positive to do after school and during holidays.
Your support will help us reach-out to more children this year – donate your old equipment at any Mr Price or Mr Price Sport store between 1st – 28th February and make a difference!
Sporting items needed include:
Tennis racquets, soccer balls, cricket gear (bats, pads and gloves), hockey sticks (and pads)and rugby balls. Please tie pairs (gloves, cricket pads, shin pads) together before placing in collection boxes in stores. Paired, undamaged shoes (soccer boots, rugby boots, running trainers) are welcome.
