REDCAP FOUNDATION - making a difference in the lives of young South Africans.
RedCap Foundation is a Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organization that was established in 2006, to carry out the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives for Mr Price Group. We strive to make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of young South Africans. Our main focus is on upliftment, especially of those less privileged, through education.

Our mission is to educate and empower our future generation to become inspired, healthy, engaged and responsible citizens, capable of bringing about necessary social change and building a positive society.
OUR VALUES
To truly make a difference in young lives, we believe that teamwork is essential. By establishing partnerships with our stakeholders and sharing knowledge and ideas, we are able to achieve far greater impact than we ever could alone. Through our current partnership projects we are now adding worth to the lives of young people in nine provinces.
OUR FOCUS
We focus on national priorities, primarily through education, and work with schools and our partners to design sustainable models that can transform young lives. We don't believe in quick fixes or mere handouts. We make sure that our initiatives build capacity instead of dependency. Each educational intervention is designed as an appropriate response to particular educational needs, with a clear programme of action and exit strategy.
It is of great importance to us that our projects are sustainable and able to touch many more young lives than are impacted through their initial set-up.
