What we are about
The RedCap Foundation has a vision for South Africa where young people create positive social change by being inspired, healthy and engaged citizens. To achieve this, we focus on children from birth to 25 years as our beneficiaries.
Young Heroes
The RedCap Foundation launched the YoungHeroes Project in 2004, and has already benefitted over 224904 learners, between the ages of 5 and 13, from selected primary schools. The programme has been rolled out in over 165 schools to date, and the methodologies applied have achieved an excellent reputation. This has been the catalyst for our partnership with the Department of Basic Education (DBE).

Jumpstart
JumpStart is in 9 provinces and has thus far trained 5987 youth between the age of 18 – 24yrs.
